The EL316x analog input terminals measure input voltages from 0 to 10 V.
The significantly faster conversion time and support for distributed clocks enable use in time-critical
applications and set them apart from the EL30xx series.
Overrange and limit evaluation are displayed via the process data.
The inputs of the EL3161/EL3162 have a common reference potential, which is connected to the 0 V power
contact.
In the EL3164, the inputs are implemented in 2-wire technology and have a common, internal ground
potential, which is not connected to the power contacts.
