The maximum occupant mass for which the carseat
is intended is 19 kg.
• Make sure that any luggage and other objects liable
to cause injuries in the event of a collision shall be
properly secure.
• Always cover the AxissFix Plus when exposed to
direct sunlight in the car. Otherwise, the cover, metal
and plastic parts could become too hot for your
child’s skin.
• Make sure the straps holding the carseat to the
vehicle are tight.
WARNING:
When the car seat is installed on the front passenger
seat, you must switch off the front passenger airbag
if your child is sitting in a rearward-facing position.
WARNING:
When the car seat is installed on the front passenger
seat, we recommand to switch off the front pas-
senger airbag if your child is sitting in a front-facing
position and place the passenger seat in the
rearmost position.
Baby in the AxissFix Plus car seat :
• Never leave your child unattended.
• For your own safety and the one of your child always
put the child in the car seat and fasten him however
short your journey may be.
• Always secure your child with the 5-point harness.
Ensure that the lap straps is worn low down, so that
the pelvis is firmly engaged, shall be stressed.
• After putting the child in the car seat, ensure that
the harness is sufficiently tight by pulling the belt.
Before every use, make sure the harness is not
damaged or twisted.
• Make sure you can fit no more than one finger
between the harnesses and your child (1 cm).
If there is more space than 1 cm, tighten the harness
belt further.
• Check to make sure the headrest is adjusted to the
proper height.
• Do not use the child restraint device without the
cover. Do not replace the seat cover with any other
than the one recommended by the manufacturer,
because it will have a direct effect on the functioning
of the car seat.
• The temperature inside a vehicle may become very
high, particularly after a long period of exposure to
the sun. It is strongly recommended, under such
conditions, to cover the seat of the car with a piece
of material or something equivalent to prevent the
harness fixings, and in particular the metal parts,
from becoming hot and burning the child.
WARNING:
The AxissFix Plus must be used rearward facing until
your child is over 15 months or measures more than
87 cm.
WARNING:
Never combine two ISOFIX anchorage and car seat
belt systems to install your child car seat.
ATTENTION:
In ISOFIX use the fitting clips for lower anchorage to
the vehicle are not sufficient. It is essential to fix the
“TOP TETHER” to the upper anchorage point
recommended by the car manufacturer. Fitting the
AxissFix Plus seat with additional tethers using the
vehicle’s ISOFIX additional anchorage points.
