BD Alaris™ MRI Capsule
Electromagnetic Emissions
Recommended Separation Distances for between portable and mobile RF communications
equipment and the MRI Capsule
The MRI Capsule is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled .
Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna cables and external antennas) should
be used no closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of the MRI Capsule, including cables specified by the manufacturer .
Otherwise, degradation of the performance of the MRI Capsule could result .
The MRI Capsule should not be used next to other equipment . If adjacent use is necessary, the MRI Capsule should be
observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in which it will be used .
