For the output system a vast number of diagnostic measures have been implemented.
Special attention must be paid to the inclusion of elements for switching amplification,
such as relays, contactors, etc. in the cutout circuit.
4.3.4.2 Wiring examples basic outputs
4.3.4.2.1 Single-channel switching relay or semi-conductor output without test
For the connection of multi-phase applications or for higher current demands external contactors
may be used. For a single-pole connection without external test please bear in mind that the
SMX100 module will not recognize bonding of one or several external contacts. The following
circuit example is only limited suitable for safety applications, Pl b acc. to EN ISO 13849-1 can
maximally be achieved!
