WCP Parameters
If you chose WCP as your compression type, then you need to set
the WCP compression parameters outlined here.
Parameter:
WCP Version
Default:
11
Options:
11, 12
Function:
The version of the BayRS software on the remote BayRS
Router at the end of the path.
Parameter:
WCP Level
Default:
Port
Options:
Path, Port
Function:
Specifies how the compression is to be applied
Instructions:
There are two values that can be set for this parameter:
•
Port: Compresses data on the individual ISDN
ports. If two ports are in use, then two compression
engines will be used. This can reduce the amount of
available memory in the unit.
•
Path: Only one compression engine is used no
matter how many ports are in use. The calls on the
ports are treated as a bundle.
