88.4 Frost Protection

The electronic management system of the boiler includes protection

against frost. If the water temperature falls below 5°C, the burner starts up

in order to provide a water temperature of 30°C.
This function only works if the boiler is turned on, the gas supply open and

the hydraulic pressure correct.

8.4.1 Activating Protection mode

1. Press the

key to access the shortcuts menu.

2. Select the C

Central heating mode CH1 parameter by turning the

button.

3. Confirm the selection by pressing the button.

4. Select the O

Off parameter by turning the

button.

5. Confirm the selection by pressing the button.

The symbol is displayed.

Note

When the O

Off operating mode is activated:

The electrical circuits continue to be powered up.

The frost protection function is activated.
