2. Check whether the surface of the burner is damaged in any way.
Replace the burner and its gasket if they are damaged.
3. Check the safety thermostat.

Replace the safety thermostat if it is damaged.
4. Clean the burner with a vacuum cleaner.
Note
Do not use a brush as it may damage the burner.
