5.1
Switching on the system

All power supply cables are connected.

PD-TaD 80 as a standalone system
When the PD-TaD 80 is used as a standalone system, the following steps must be
performed to switch on the system:
Connect the Power Box to the power supply.
The PD measuring unit of the PD-TaD 80 will be switched on automatically.
Switch on the VLF HV generator with the main switch on the control panel.
The operating state of the system is indicated by red and green pilot lamps on the control
panel of the VLF HV generator.
Switch on the laptop and start the BAUR system software.
