6.3 Operation
•
Before the device operation clean it according to the instructions in section
7
“Cleaning”
.
CAUTION!
Never place an empty cookware on the hob.
Warming up an empty pot or frying pan activates the overheaeting protection
system; an audio signal will sound (3 times) and the device turns off.
„E2“ error code will appear on the display.
Remove the pot from the hob and leave the device for a few minutes to
cool off. Then, you may start using the device again.
•
Place an appropriate cookwate with food in the middle of the hob.
•
Connect the device to a single grounded outlet.
An audio signal wil sound and the
ON
indicator light will start blinking.
The device is in the
STANDBY
mode now

•
To switch the device on, press the
ON/OFF
button
.
The digital display shows
“---”.
Settings
Power mode
•
Press the button
, to directly switch to the power mode. Factory set power value
of
1500 W
will be displayed.
The power mode indicator light (
) will come on.
•
The buttons
and may be used at any moment to change settings in this respect

. The digital display shows the corresponding power.
The following power level can be set:
1 - 500 W, 2 - 800 W, 3 - 1000 W, 4 - 1300 W, 5 - 1500 W,
6- 1800 W, 7 - 2000 W, 8 - 2300 W, 9 - 2500 W, 10 - 2700 W

Temperature mode
•
To leave the power mode, press the function key
(for power or
temperature mode) switching to the temperature mode.
•
The device switches to the factory-set
temperature of
100 °C
which
appears on
the digital display.
The temperature mode indicator light ( ) will come on.
