19.4.2. Z String Format
In the single-file Z string format the start of the same data will appear as
shown (left).
The data represents a continuous stream of gradiometer readings,
re-formatted as though they had been collected using a single sensor
working in parallel traverses. Each reading is followed by a <CR><LF>
delimiter. If the two-file format had been selected, the header and data
would appear in separate files with different filename extensions.
Note:
If Geoplot by Geoscan Research is being used to view and process
the data then it should be downloaded in Z string format.
19.4.3. XYZ Format
In XYZ format using a single file, the data will
appear as shown (right).
The data is arranged in comma delimited columns.
