17.2.3. Lines and Positions
To interface the data of one Grid with others to form a larger area map, the lines are spaced
symmetrically in one direction and the values are measured at positions spaced symmetrically
along the lines. The first line should therefore be measured at a distance of one half line space
from the edge of the Grid. The first measurement will be centred on a point one half of the
reading interval from the start line.
