Adjustment of Travel Safety Device Brake

Important

Before adjusting the travel safety device
brake, complete the adjustment of the parking
brake.

Park the machine on a level surface.
Release the parking brake.
Loosen the lock nut.
Adjust the travel safety device brake wire
with the adjustment bolt.
Adjust the travel safety device brake wire
so that its play is as small as possible and
the brakes do not drag when the brake is
released.
Firmly tighten the lock nut.
