Adequate lubrication is essential for proper operation of the coupling. Refer to Table 1 for amount of lubricant required.
It is recommended that the coupling be checked daily and lubricant added if required.

1. Remove both lube plugs and insert lube fittings (lube fittings may already be installed). Lube holes are 1/8 NPT.
2. Using a standard grease gun, fill with recommended lubricant until an excess appears at the opposite hole.

However, for vertical applications, the match mark shown in Figure 1, must be up. Carefully follow the instructions in
this section for optimum performance.
