6.1 IO-Link-Data
The switching frequency of the device is mainly determined
by the transmission speed of the IO-Link interface.
The characteristic parameters of the interface are:

BLA32D 5.0 ms
BLA50D 5.4 ms
BLA72D 6.2 ms

Tab. 6-2: Process data
The analog output values are in µm, the value range here is
from 0 to the length of the active measuring range of the
sensor.
The object output value depends on the activated functions:
In object detection mode, the taught number of the detec-
ted object is output (0: no object; 1-6: detected objects; 7:
unknown object). If simultaneous counting of objects is
activated, the number of detected objects is output.
Several status messages are output simultaneously in vari-
able no. 4:
Bit 5 indicates whether the BLA is currently performing signal
normalisation. Bit 6 indicates whether autoblanking was acti-
vated during the last signal normalization. In case no light arri-
ves at the receiver, bit 7 is set to 1. This allows a completely
covered light band to be detected.
