Display settings
The menu item "Display" allows you to set the display cha-
racteristics. The item "Sleep Time" can be used to set the
time until the display switches off automatically after the last
keystroke. The item "Rotation" allows to rotate the display
by 180° in order to facilitate the reading of the menu in case
the device is mounted upside down. The "Contrast" setting
allows you to adjust the contrast or brightness of the dis-
play.
5.4
Locking operation
Input via the control panel can be locked under the item "Lock"
to protect the device against unintentional adjustment. A pad-
lock symbol in the upper right corner of the display indicates
that the unit is locked. The lock can be removed with "Unlock".
For IO-Link devices, the lock function can also be activated via
the IO-Link parameterization. It is also possible to lock the local
user interface. With this function, the keys on the device can be
completely locked and also unlocked only via IO-Link.
