Masoneilan SVI II AP Digital Positioner Quick Start Guide | 74

Be sure that the configuration lock jumper is in the unlock
position. When the jumper is in the lock position (shorting the
two-pin header) the handheld is not permitted to make any
changes. However, parameters are readable. If fault messages
appear, they must be handled before proceeding with HART

®

communications. Before communications proceeds all error
messages must be cleared. For example, the following
message is displayed if the instrument has been serviced and
the air is not connected.

Process applied to the non-primary variable is outside
the operating limits of the field device
