Handle Installation
The handwheel is used to raise and lower the spindle.
1. Install the handle to the handwheel, (Fig. 7).

Extension Wings Installation
The shaper has one extension wing that needs to be
mounted before it can be operated.
1. Attach the extension wing to the table using three
M10 x 35mm socket head cap screws, three M10
lock washers, and three M10 flat washers.
2. Slide the extension wing until the front of the wing
is flush with the main table.
3. Using a straight edge, align the extension wing to
the table and securely tighten the three socket
head cap screws. (Fig. 8)

Spindle Installation
1. Select the appropriate spindle for your shaping
operation.
2. Insert the end of the spindle into quill of the
shaper. MAKE CERTAIN to align the keyway in
the spindle with the tab on the quill. (Fig. 9)
