SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE (S) CORRECTIVE ACTION
Machine moves, but
cannot reach capacity.
Relief valve not set correctly.
Relief valve damaged.
Pump damaged.
Internal cylinder leak.
Pilot check valve not set correctly. Check hydraulic pressure and
adjust relief valve (tighten to
increase pressure).
Replace relief valve.
Replace pump
Contact dealer for service.
Adjust the correct pressure setting
of the valve.
Excessive hydraulic
noise
Motor turning in wrong direction.
Pump worn out.
Not enough oil.
Ball valves on hydraulic tank are
closed. For 3 phase
– Turn machine OFF.
Change any two of the three power
source wires. Re-check motor
direction.
Replace pump.
Check oil level and add oil if
necessary.
Open valves to allow oil flow.
Hydraulic hold downs
do not work
Ball valve is shut off. Rotate handle 90° counterclockwise
(ccw) to open.
