TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM
POSSIBLE CAUSE (S)
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Motor Does Not Start
No power.
Disconnect switch not turned on.
Emergency button not reset.
Motor damaged.
Motor power cable not connected
properly.
Motor circuit breaker tripped.
Fuse blown.
Magnetic switch damaged or
burned out.
Transformer damaged.
Check the power source.
Turn the switch to ON position.
Release the emergency buttons by
turning the knob to the right.
Replace motor.
Check the cable connection and
reconnect cable. Change cable if
worn out.
Reset the breaker to ON position.
Check and replace fuse(s).
Replace switch.
Replace transformer.
Motor is ON, but
machine will not move.
Motor turning in the wrong direction.
Not enough hydraulic oil.
Solenoid valve stuck.
Solenoid valve coil burned out.
Foot pedal not sending signal.
Relay stuck or burned out.
Limit switch not set at correct
position.
For 3 Phase - Turn machine OFF.
Change any two of the three power
source wires. Recheck motor
direction.
Check oil level and add oil if
necessary.
Clean or replace valve.
Replace solenoid valve.
Check pedal and replace switch if
necessary.
Replace relay.
Adjust the limit switch for proper
stroke travel setting.
WARNING:
Make sure the electrical disconnect is OFF before working
on the machine.
