2. INTRODUCTION OF IBO E-DRIVE SYSTEMS
In this manual, two types of system are introduced.
1. ibo 09S e-drive system for all two-wheel and three-wheel Babboe-E cargo bikes
2. ibo 09C e-drive system for Max-E cargo bike
The ibo e-drive systems have several unique functions which can be summarized as listed below:
• For the ibo e-drive system, GWA provide two different type of battery pack, one with 374 Wh (ibo-R37)
and the other one with 447 Wh (ibo-R45).
• A unique charging mechanism with a self-diagnostication function (ibo-COP2- Cell Optimization kit v2).
This gives users a direct access to view the battery health condition via LEDS on the front side.
• Head light control – the e-drive system provide battery power to the front and rear LED lights.
TIP
Babboe-E cargo bikes assembled before 2019 have an older system and do not provide power to the LED lights.
FUNCTION OF THE GWA SYSTEM
The Babboe-E cargo bikes are equipped with electric pedal assistance. The support is given from the rear wheel
motor, which makes the electrical support feels like you are cycling with a tailwind.
