8. Periodically clean off the connectors of the battery, controller, charger and COP2. Any dust or dampness could
reduce the effectiveness of the insulation, resulting in electric shock or fire.
9. Do not modify or disassemble the Babboe-E cargo bike. Do not install anything other than the original and genuine
parts and accessories. Doing so could result in product damage, malfunction, or increase of risk of injury.
10. When stopping the Babboe-E cargo bike be sure to apply both the front and rear brakes and keep both feet on
the ground. If you place one foot on the pedal while the other one is on the ground, in a very rare case, a signal
will be accidentally triggered which could unintentionally engage the power assist function, which could result
in loss of control and could increase risk of injury.
11. Do not ride Babboe-E cargo bike if there is any irregularity with the battery pack or any part of Babboe-E cargo bike.
Doing so could lead to loss of control or serious injury.
5.3 Babboe-E cargo bike regular storage (over-night)
Be sure to store Babboe-E cargo bike in a place that is:
• Flat and stable
• Well ventilated and free from moisture
• Sheltered from the elements and from direct sunlight
• Sheltered inside
5.4 Babboe-E cargo bike long term storage (6 months)
• When storing the Babboe-E cargo bike for a long period of time (6 months or longer), remove the battery pack
and store it indoors in a cool 0°C – 40°C and dry place where humidity is less than 65% at 25°C.
• The suggested battery pack capacity should be charged up to 30% for a long period of time.
• The lithium ion cell will self-discharge its power gradually. The battery pack will slowly lose its capacity
during storage. Users should always use COP2 to execute a calibration process every 3 months to optimize
the health condition of the battery pack.
• Follow every 3-month’s calibration process, the battery pack can be easily stored up to 10 months.
• When using the battery pack after a long storage period of time, be sure to charge the battery pack before
using it. Also, if the period of time in storage has been 6 months or longer, please have your e-cargo bike
inspected and maintained by the dealer first.
