5.
Maintenance and servicing schedule
5.1. General
ATTENTION! This work must be carried out by a qualified and specialized technician in accordance with the legal rules and regulations
applicable.
CAUTION! Prior to carrying out servicing work on the guide post and on the entry portal, always shut down the power supply first.
Detailed description, for example, for the programming is included in the manual supplied along with the drive with controller.
5.2. Daily maintenance
Keep the gate opening free from any obstacles over the entire range of movement at all
times!
5.3. Monthly servicing
ATTENTION! Beware of the crushing hazard and the potential of an electric shock while doing maintenance!
STEP
1
Test all safety equipment and devices regularly.
This gate has been provided with various safety devices. In order to prevent accidents caused by the gate, all safety devices must be
checked regularly to ensure that they are working properly.
• Move the gate to the open position, and press the palm of your hand against one of the pressure strips. The gate must stop immediately.
Repeat this procedure with the other pressure strips.
• Clean the photocells once a month with a soft cloth. Next, close the gate and while doing so reach with your hand into the zone between
the photocell. The gate must stop immediately and start reversing.
• Check the flasher lamp on the pillar for proper working.
STEP

Clean the inside of the bottom bar once a month. This prevents ingress of dirt in the guide and blocking of the gate while it is in operation.
• To do this, move the gate to the closed position.
• Interrupt the power supply.
• Wipe out the bottom bar with a cloth and remove any dirt from the inside while doing so.
• Switch on the power supply again and check that the gate is working properly.
5.4. Once a year

Ensure that the sliding gate system is maintained once a year by specialists authorized for this purpose.

Replace the battery in the safety contact strip at the main closing edge once a year.
