The ridge connecting plates to the left and to the right are specifically
designed and engage with the corner connecting plates to form a rain-
proof transition. The ridge connecting plates are fixed weather-resistant
to the top-end portion by an attached shock cover.
Eaves skirt, joint sealing strip, mounting bracket below
The photovoltaic modules can either be mounted directly to the eaves or
over the tiles.
For the crossover from the lower edge of the tile field an eaves skirt as
in the other roof fittings e.g. roof windows is used as usual (lead role
300 mm or Mageflex tape aluminium black 280 mm available as acces-
sory).
The joint sealing strip (fillet sealing strip) is mounted on the eaves skirt
in order to seal off the roof space against small animals and insects.
NOTE
It is recommended to lay a 17 mm distance block/spacer underneath the
mounting bracket glass of the bottom row. This prevents that the modu-
lar rear side under high snow load will come in contact with the bent
section of the mounting bracket.
