2. Double click the
Sharing
and
Connecting
icon to open this window:
Any active connections you have will be listed in the window.
3. From the
Connection
menu, select
Create
. This dialog is displayed:
4. In the
Workstation
field, type AXIS<nnnnnn>, where <nnnnnn> are the last
six digits of your StorPoint CD serial number.
5. In the
Share/alias
field enter the StorPoint CD resource:
• Root for root level access
• Volumes for access to all the discs
• the volume name for access to an individual disc, e.g. acrobat
6. In the
Local device name
field, select a drive letter for your StorPoint CD.
7. Click
Create
. The StorPoint CD is ready for use.
Note:
The StorPoint CD folders will not be visible on the Desktop in OS/2
versions prior to OS/2 WARP Connect. If you wish to use an earlier version
of OS/2, we recommend using third party NFS software to connect to the
StorPoint CD.
