2.10 Installing the NVMe SSD Module
The IPC960, IPC962 and IPC964 come with an M.2 Key M 2280 socket (PCIe Gen3 x4) for
users to install an NVMe SSD module. Please refer to the following instructions and
illustrations for the installation of the NVMe SSD module.
Step 1 Please take the NVMe SSD module kit from the accessory box.
Step 2 Turn off the system.
Step 3 Disconnect the power connector.
Step 4 Loosen screws to remove the heatsink cover from the chassis.
Step 5 Align the thermal pad with the slot and paste it on the slot. Remember to remove the
protective film from the thermal pad.

