4.4.3 Local Log
The Local Log page logs any attacks on the firewall. These attack records are visible in the table at the bottom
of the page.
Specifies the e-mail address and its SMTP of the person who should receive notices of any attempted
firewall violations.
Type the addresses in standard Internet e-mail address format, for example, [email protected].
Then check the Enable box to enable the alert feature.
Click E-mail Log to immediately send the email log.
Click Clear Log to clear the table of entries for a fresh start.
4.4.4 Remote Log
This page allows optional configurations of events to be sent to a local SysLog server.
Activate the events to be logged.
Enter the IP address of the SysLog server in your network.
Click Apply.
