: This function resets the system into the standard
settings. Presets are not deleted.

RS232 Interfaces
MAGIC TH6 provides two RS232 interfaces:
RS232 interface 1 is always configured for the connection of an external key-
pad with the following parameters 9,600 bit per second, 8 data bits, no parity
and cannot be changed.
RS232 interface 2 can be configured for the connection of an external keypad
or a PC.
– To configure the RS232 interface 2 press the
Menu
softkey and select
System
Settings
.
– Go to the
General
submenu and select
RS232/KEYPAD 2 ( PC )
. Now you can
select the required baudrate and parity.
NOTE
If the Preset has changed, you are asked if you want to
save settings
when
you leave the Preset menu. Via the
yes
softkey the configuration is stored in
the system. This Preset is loaded automatically by the system after the unit is
connected with the power supply.
NOTE
If you configure the RS232/Keypad 2 interface for the use with a PC, the PC
control via the LAN interface will be deactivated.
