Clearing A Warning or Error Message
If a problem occurs during operation, a warning or error message will display on
the LCD panel. In addition, the Error LED will be flashing or solidly lit to indicate a
warning or an error status. To solve the problem, please follow the on-screen
instruction or the following table for more detailed information.

Possible cause of failure detection: sensor
problem on the toner cartridge.
Please install a cartridge.
200031 Toner has run out.
Replace a new toner cartridge.

Toner that remains is lower than 10%.
The machine can still perform printing or
copying function yet with poor quality.
200033
No waste toner can is installed or
detected.
Install waste toner can. (Refer to
Chapter 8 Replacing the
Consumables)
200034 The waste toner can is full.
Replace an empty waste toner can.
(Refer to Chapter 8 Replacing the
Consumables)
200035 The waste toner can is nearly full.
200036 Toner cartridge error. (incorrect S/N)
Replace genuine toner cartridge
from the original manufacturer.
200040
Drum unit sensor fails. Since toner will
not continue being filled into the drum
unit, resulting in less toner in the drum
unit, the print quality is getting worse.
1. Reboot the system

2. If the problem persists, replace
the sensor.
200041 No developing unit
Please install developing unit.
