Chapter 1 Installing Hardware

1.3.2 NV 3000 DVR Hardware Installation

Before installing the video card, turn off the computer’s
power, unplug the power cable and disconnect all other
cables attached to the back of the computer.

Users can purchase optional I/O Audio Cards if it is necessary.

1.3.2.1 Install One Video Capture Card and One Audio Card
(Optional)

Please follow the steps to install the system. Remove the PC
case cover.

Remove 2 brackets for the PCI slots. Save the screws.

Connect the Audio Card and the Video Capture Card with the
connection cable.

Insert the Video Capture Card and I/O Audio Card and fix them.

1.3.2.2 Install 2 Video Capture Cards and 2 Audio Cards

Please follow the steps to install the system. Remove the PC
case cover.

Remove 4 brackets for the PCI slots. Save the screws.

Connect the Audio Card and the Video Capture Card with the
connection cable.
