IP Global Parameters
To display and update the IP global parameters, click the
IP Route
folder
and select
IP Global Parameters
. The IP Global Parameters window
appears.

The following parameters are displayed:

Field Name
Description
ICMP Error Messages
If enabled, ICMP error messages should be sent. If
disabled, ICMP error messages should not be sent.
ARP Timeout (Sec.)
The number of seconds that may pass between ARP
requests concerning entries in the ARP table.
After this period, the entry is deleted from the
table.
