Booter
Booter update may be handled via DHCP Option 254 "UPDATE” (see
Booter update
on
page 29) automatically. In any case you may have direct control to booter SW, if you use a
telnet user session.
Checking the IP DECT base station Booter Version
You can display the version information of the IP DECT base station booter using the telnet
interface of an IP DECT base station. Check the booter version to determine whether an update
is required to overcome any user issues or to enhance the functionality.
1. Start a telnet session using the IP address of the IP DECT base station
2. Enter login:
iprfp
and password:
crftpw
3. Enter "flash”
The display will show the software and the hardware level of the IP DECT base station.
