FIRST STEPS
5.1.
INSTALLATION
Remove the UHD player and its accessories from the packaging.
Place the player on a flat surface or mount it on a wall. Use the brackets on both sides.
Make sure there is sufficient ventilation and, to avoid overheating, do not place several players on
top of one another.
5.2.
CONNECTING OUTPUT DEVICES
5.2.1.
VIDEO
Connect the UHD Player to your display device via the
on the UHD Player’s rear side.
By default, the player is set to
Auto EDID “On”
. As soon as the player is connected to a display, it
recognizes the incoming EDID and the display can be used immediately without the need to adjust
any further display configuration. Having no data carrier plugged into the player, the display will then
show the player’s
settings screen as soon the player is powered and ready for operation.

chapter.
5.2.2.
AUDIO
You have three options for using audio ports:
- Digital via the
on the UHD Player’s rear side
- Digital via the
on the UHD Player’s right side
- Analog via the
on the UHD Player’s rear side
The digital and analog audio connectors transmit stereo (analog: white connector = left channel, red
connector = right channel).
In case you want to use audio, be sure to connect your speakers
to one of the player’s audio ports.
There is no need for further configuration
,
as the audio is transmitted via all output ports at the same
time.
