Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC)
Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC)
FMC is the merging of mobile and landline. The user enables the

of the PBX for a subscriber via a smartphone app and is
supported by it when initiating calls.
For incoming calls, ther user gets the correct phone number signalled. For
outgoing calls to an external number, the caller is signalled the MSN of the
PBX under which the caller can be called back and not the Call Through
MSN.

Requirements:
•
Provider supporting CLIP no screening (possibly with costs)
•
CLIP no screening configured at the provider
Procedure for outgoing calls:
•
Dialling the Call Through MSN of the PBX.
•
Dialling the
6-digit PIN
+

user PIN of the FMC-using subscriber. This
is unambiguously and makes it clear that this is an FMC call.
•
The caller is identified by the number for the Multi-Path call forwarding.
•
The required data (PIN, number of the caller, MSN of the internal
subscriber) is checked.
•
When all data match, the caller can initiate a call (e. g. via the smart-
phone app).
