BCX Series Operating Manual
Along the lower part of the preceding screen is a PAUSE button. Using the mouse to
click on the PAUSE button will cause the cycle to “PAUSE” and the button will
change to a green color and change its label to “CONTINUE.” This button does not
show the condition of the test, but instead what it will do to the test if it is pressed.
When test was
paused, the
condition of the
test is shown next
to the test that
was selected.
The screen shows
the cabinet in a
pause mode.
In the pause
mode, all cabinet
functions that
were turned on in
the automatic
mode are turned
off.
The pause button is commonly used to check the samples being tested. After the test
is put into a PAUSE mode, it is recommended to purge the cabinet’s exposure zone
prior to opening the cabinet cover. The example above shows the purge blower turned
on. This is accomplished by using the mouse. Place the mouse over the ‘PURGE
BLOWER” switch on the screen and left-click once. The switch on the screen will
move into the up position and turn on the blower. The blower will remain on until the
user-defined time elapses, or until the user manually turns off the blower. The blower
is turned off the same way it was turned on.
