9.4 TPMS ID MATCH
1
First, ensure that all sensors on the vehicle have been properly scanned.
3
Then, connect the OBDII Quick
Connect Cable into the tool and then
into the vehicle. Once connected,
select Retrieve IDs.
In some cases when changing tires a relearn may not have been performed correctly, a sensor not programmed
properly, or sensors were replaced in the incorrect positions. The TPMS ID Match function allows you to scan the
current sensors, then hook up to the vehicle and compare the IDs with the ones stored in the ECU.
2
Then, from the Diagnostics menu
select TPMS ID Match.
4
The tool will display a chart with the scanned IDs, as well as the ones stored
in the vehicle. If all sensors are Green, you are good to go and no further
action is required. If any of the sensors are Red, that means a relearn needs
to be performed and you can select the Relearn button to automatically take
you to the Relearn function.
