6.2 Music
On DIVA front panel, you have the possibility to assigned music sources to a zone (or multiple), set up
attenuation for each speaker zone and to toggle between music sources. This will be possible in the
case you set music in Route Key mode, see
6.2.1 Zone Selection
The zone selections have been designed to be simple. In order to select a zone, please follow the next
steps:
•
Press the zone button(s) you want to activate. The corresponding green selection LED(s) should
light(s) up
•
Choose the music source you want to route
•
Press the Route button
6.2.2 Source Selection
The DIVA front panel offers the possibility to toggle between two music sources or none.
•
Press the SELECT button to go from Source 1 to Source 2
•
Press SELECT button to go from Source 2 to no selection
•
Press SELECT button to re-select Source 1
6.2.3 Attenuator
In each zone, the music level can be attenuated depending your needs.
•
Adjust the corresponding zone(s) ATTENUATOR KNOBS to the desired level
Note:
if two music sources are used, keep in mind that attenuator will only have effect on only one of
them (music 1). This is due to the fact that the amplifier used for the music source 2 is the one
dedicated for voice call.
6.3 Message and Microphone Call
From the front panel, you have the choice two start three different messages or do a zone call with the
fireman microphone. See those two chapter for more information about

6.3.1 Messages
Next steps are for zone selection in case of starting a message:
•
Press the zone button(s) where you want the message to be played. The corresponding green
selection LED(s) should light(s) up
•
Press the desired message button, the message will start performing in the zone. If EVAC
message, the corresponding EVAC LED(s) should light(s) up. If Test or Alarm message, the
corresponding PAGE LED(s) should light up
Note: If the message set on the front panel have been defined with pre-defined zone, pressing only
the message button will result in starting the message in the pre-defined zones.
