Installing an ASUS PIKE II card

You can install an ASUS PIKE II card on the provided PCI-E slot onboard.
To install an ASUS PIKE II card:

Remove the default cable from the motherboard.

Follow steps 3 to 7 in section

2.7.1 Installing an expansion card

to install your ASUS

PIKE II card.

3. Connect the two mini-SAS HD cables to the ASUS PIKE II card.

Connect only one (1) mini-SAS HD cable to ASUS PIKE II connector 1 for 4 HDD bays.
