iii. POOL EQUIPMENT – select the name/purpose of the equipment connected to this
channel. If an appropriate name cannot be found there is the ability to select
“Custom” where you can create your own name for the channel.
If Filter Pump is selected, you will be given the option of selecting if a variable speed
pump is installed. Only select Yes if the variable speed pump fitted is an AstralPool
eVo range pump. Variable speed pumps from other manufacturers are not
compatible with the Viron Connect controllers.
iv. CONTROLLED HEATER POWER OPTION – select this option if you are operating a
non AstralPool gas heater or a heat pump. This function will allow you to turn power
on and off to your heater through the heating menu.
v. SOLAR OPTION – if you have configured the controller to operate solar with an
independent pump, select this option
