On the keypad of the group where you want to wash,
press and hold down the
key and immediately
afterwards press and hold the key
for at least 5
seconds (the led of button flashes);
•
to activate the wash, press button
again (buttons
and
flashing) ;
•
wait for the automatic washing cycles to be com-
pleted (about 50 seconds);
•
at the end of the first washing cycle, indicated by the
led flashing on button
, and put back the coffee
filter into the filter holder;
•
put the filter holder into the group again and start
the rinse by pressing the
button;
•
wait for the complete automatic rinsing cycle to end
(about 30 seconds) indicated by the flashing of but-
tons
and
;
•
the end of the rinse cycle will be indicated by the il-
lumination of all keys;
•
Repeat the same operations for the other groups.
In the version with Autosteamer use the
button any
keyboard. Use the
button of the group where wants to wash.
Should the electrical power be cut off during a washing or rinsing
stage, when switched on, the machine will propose again the
washing of the unit using the led of
button.
The operation to eliminate the possible presence of residual
detergent in the unit must be carried out again.
8.7.4 Cleaning the shower screen and shower screen
containment ring
Weekly perform the cleaning of the perforated disk
in the following way:
•
Loosen the screw using a screwdriver

•
Remove the shower screen
(B)
and the shower screen
containment ring
(C)
;
•
Carefully wash the two
components with hot wa-
ter;
•
Reposition the shower
screen and shower screen
containment ring in their
original position and lock
everything in place with
the screw.
8.7.5 Unit and filter holder spray nozzle cleaning
Clean daily the unit and filter holder spray nozzles
with brush provided.
Thoroughly clean the inside of the coupling ring and
filter holder, as well as the edge and the wings of the
filter holder, so as to eliminate any accumulated coffee
residues.
Use the special toothbrush supplied (see Spare Parts Catalogue).
