If you had accidentally clamped onto a 24V battery output, it will remind you with the display as shown below (Fig.
62 and Fig. 63).
In this case, clamp the tester onto one of the 12V Battery that has a negative terminal connected the chassis (see
Fig. 64 below).
Note:
To conduct Ground Resistance test on a 24V (12V x 2 Batteries) System, always look for the 12V Battery
with its negative terminal connected to the vehicle chassis (see Fig. 63 above). Clamp the tester clips
onto this battery terminals will be able to proceed with the Test.
Start Testing
1. Make sure that the engine is switched OFF. Attach the clips onto the battery terminal posts and the
analyser will power up and lights up the LCD display screen as shown below.
2. From the main MENU, select by scrolling left using
key. The screen will show (Fig.65).
