6.
INSTALLING THE SYSTEM
Before installing your Traka Touch System you must ensure the following…
•
The system is switched off and not yet connected to the mains.
•
The fused mains spur (if applicable) is safe and ready for use with the Traka Touch system.
6.1
REMOVING THE RECEPTOR STRIP FRAME
To enable the cabinet to be fitted to the wall you must first remove the Receptor Strip Frame. If your system has
extension cabinets, the Receptor Strip Frame must be removed from these too.

Using one of the door master keys, manually release the door of the main system using the CAM lock on top of
the system.

The door will now pop open giving you access to the strip frame. Remove the 2 Torx Pin screws from the right
hand side of the receptor strip frame.

The strip frame will now pivot open to 90°. Ensure the system is supported at this point as the weight of the strip
frame will cause the system to lean forward.
