What is it.
What is a Serial Keypad and how does it work?

The NW627S v2.0, is a newer version of our original 21-Key Keypad. It
connects to the serial port and offer ease of use for those notebook users
needing use the numeric keypad. Great for accounting, auditing, inventory
and other number crunching activities.

Why the version 2.0.
What are the differences from the original NW627S
and this version?
A.
The NW627S v2.0, is designed to match the newer Toshiba notebook
color for a better looking, integrated solution. Along with that we added a
fold-away wrist-rest for users looking for a more ergonomic solution. Lastly,
we created a simpler Keypad Manager interface to make this version even
easier to install and use.

Ease of Installation.
How easy is it to install to my Notebook?
A.
You simply connect the serial keypad to your notebook computer's serial
port, run the setup program included on the diskette. Once the installation is
complete, the notebook will need to be restarted. That's it.

Compatible operating systems.
Which operating systems with this keypad
function with?
A.
The keypad manager is a 32-bit Windows application that will run under
Windows 95/98 and Windows NT 4.0. We've also included a set of 16-bit
DOS drivers to run under DOS/WFW 3.x. Follow the user manual instructions
for installing the DOS drivers.
