Functions and operation
Combination with a swing door drive unit
Due to the integrated motorised unlocking function, the lock is suitable for combination with swing door
drive units, for example for barrier-free doors that are automatically unlocked and opened.
Access control system
Due to the motorised unlocking function, the lock can be connected to an access control system . Unlock-
ing is then executed by an electrical impulse that can, for example, be transmitted from inside or outside
by a magnetic card reader, finger scanner or a door code system.
Day mode
When Day mode is activated, the flip latches are blocked and the bolt is retracted to 5 mm. The door is not
considered to be locked, rather just held closed. In this switching position, the lock can be unlocked much
faster by the motor or, in the case of the sFlipLock e-drive, by the coupled external lever handle.
Office function
The Office function enables the lock to be permanently unlocked by actuation by a permanent contact. This
means that buildings can be made accessible from outside during fixed times using an access control
system or timer.
