Motorised unlocking is not
possible but the lock can be
manually unlocked by the
inside lever handle (in escape
direction).
The bolt can no longer be retracted by the motor.
The bolt does not have enough free movement and jams in
the extended state.
Adjust the door and the position of the strike plate so that
the bolt has enough rebate gap.
The lock is not supplied with 11 to 27 V DC .
Connection cable is defective.
Measure the conductivity of the connection cable and
replace any defective connection cables.
The lock no longer reacts to electrical commands.
The lock motor is defective.
Contact a qualified tradesperson and replace the lock if
necessary.
The lock motor does not react to opening commands.
The lock motor is not supplied with 11 to 27 V DC .
Check and, if necessary, correct the polarity for the motor
inputs.
The door can be pushed or
pulled open by hand although
it should be locked.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
Flip latch cannot freely engage in the strike plate.
Adjust the door and the position of the strike plate so that
the flip latch engages freely in the strike plate and door frame
and can position itself.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
Locking cylinder jammed.
Check and replace the locking cylinder if necessary. Check
switchover operation using a key.
The bolt is not extended when the door is closed.
The trip latch is not actuated.
Check and, if necessary, correct the rebate gap.
The lock does not lock when the door is closed.
The lock is in the Office function (permanently released).
Check and, if necessary, correct the permanent door release
control system.
The lock does not lock when the door is closed.
The connection cable was interrupted during the release
period.
Measure the conductivity of the connection cable and
replace any defective connection cables.
The bolt jumps back out of the
lock immediately after open-
ing the door.
The trip latch is not retained in position for permanent door
release.
The door handle was not pressed down completely.
Press the door handle right down to the end stop.
Door handle cannot be pushed down far enough.
Rebate gap is set too wide.
Check and, if necessary, correct the rebate gap.
The trip latch jams in an actuated position.
Check that the lock has been installed without distortion
and, if necessary, correct the installation.
e-drive only: Door cannot be
manually unlocked using the
outside handle.
The outside handle is not coupled and is ineffective.
The lock motor is not supplied with 11 to 27 V DC.
Check and correct the polarity of the 12 to 24 V DC input.
Measure the conductivity of the connection cable and
replace any defective connection cables.
If the polarity and conductivity of the connection cable is OK,
contact a qualified tradesperson.
