6.1.5. The 9-16 tab
If you've used up all eight destinations or eight sources on the 1-8 tab, simply click on the
9–16 tab to display an entirely blank set of eight additional sources and destinations.
6.2. Combos / Lfo / S&H tab
Next to the 9-16 tab for the Mod Matrix is a tab that displays controls of these modulation
sources:
•
LFO
s (Low Frequency Oscillators), which generate slow-moving waves that are
often used to modulate other parameters like pitch or amplitude, resulting in
vibrato or tremolo
•
Sample & Hold
, which takes a momentary "snapshot" of a signal and holds on to
that level for a specific period of time, then takes another sample and holds that,
and so on.
•
Combinate
, which combines two different mod sources mathematically.
6.2.1. LFOs
The CZ V has two independent low-frequency oscillators, in addition to the dedicated Vibrato
LFO on the top panel. The parameters for LFO 1 and LFO 2 are identical, so the description
of each parameter applies equally to both LFOs.
