Clean and Disinfect with Disinfection Unit
(40 steps)
Remove visual residue (step 1-7)
1 Raise
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub to convenient working
position.
2 Make sure all functions are turned off.
3 Open drainage plug to empty any remaining water.
4 Detach and place the loose parts such as armrests, seat of
the transfer chair, the neck pillow and other accessories
such as safety belts on the bottom of the
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub. See Fig. 1
5 Make sure the transfer chair is in the
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub and not outside.
6 Shower and rinse the
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub, the lifting
arm and the transfer chair with water to remove visible
residue. Start from the top and move downwards.
7 Shower and rinse the loose parts and the accessories in the
bottom of the bathtub with water to remove visible residue.
Turn accessories and loose parts and rinse again.
Clean (step 8-25)
8 Put on protective gloves and glasses. See Fig. 2
9 Open the disinfection cover and lift out the disinfection
spray handle. See Fig. 3
10 Check the level of disinfectant.
11 Press the disinfection button (A) on the control panel for
5 s. The LED will light up green. See Fig. 4
For bathtubs with Air Spa system:
Approximate time for the automatic disinfection is 3 to 4
minutes.10 seconds after the start, the disinfection spray
handle is activated for 2 minutes before it shuts off.
12 Aim the disinfection spray handle into the bathtub and
press the trigger
