14 Soak a cloth in disinfectant.
15 Wipe all other contact areas such as the outside of the
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub, the hand control and the
transfer chassis (if any) with the cloth.
16 Open the drainage plug.
17 Rinse all parts clean with plenty of water having a
temperature of approximately 25 °C to rinse off the
disinfectant fluid.
18 Wet a new cloth with water and remove all traces of
disinfectant on contact areas. The cloth should occasionally
be rinsed in running water when removing disinfectant.
Disinfect (step 19-30)
19 Spray disinfectant in drain.
20 Close the drainage plug.
21 Spray disinfectant on all internal
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub
surfaces, lifting arm, transfer chair and the loose parts and
accessories at the bottom of the
bathtub. Turn accessories
and spray on other side. Pay attention to parts and knobs
attached to the
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub surface such as
drain control knob/surface overflow outlet. See Fig. 5
22 Soak a cloth in disinfectant.
23 Wipe all other contact areas such as the outside of the
Malibu/Sovereign
bathtub (particularly behind the head),
metal sensory knobs, hand control and the transfer chassis
(if any) with the cloth.
24 Allow an appropriate contact time of the disinfectant
according to the disinfectant IFU.
25 Open the drainage plug.
26 Rinse all parts clean with plenty of water having a
temperature of approximately 25 °C to rinse off the
disinfectant fluid.
27 Wet a clean cloth with water and remove all traces of
disinfectant on contact areas outside the bathtub, such as
handle and knobs. Rinse the cloth occasionally in running
water when removing disinfectant.
28 Place the shower handle in the holder.
29 Leave to air dry.
30 Attach armrests and seat. Make sure the seat is attached.
Attach the neck pillow, safety belt and rest of the
accessories.
