7. Support the axle to prevent it from dropping or hang-

ing.

8. Remove the lower shock cap screws. Account for the

lock nuts; then move the shocks and upper A-arm up

and secure them with a strap.

the “plunge” coupler; then remove the axle from the

differential. Repeat for the opposite side.
