3 General

The AQ-C255 capacitor bank protection IED is a member of the AQ-200 product line. The hardware

and software are modular: the hardware modules are assembled and configured according to the

application's I/O requirements, and the software determines the available functions. There are up to

eleven (11) option card slots available for additional I/O or communication cards for more

comprehensive monitoring and control applications. This manual describes the specific application of

the AQ-C255 capacitor bank protection IED. For other AQ-200 series products please consult their

respective device manuals.
