Chapter 1 — Introduction
1.1 In This Manual
This manual is intended for users of the one-channel network video transmitter and includes instructions
for using and managing the transmitter on the network.
1.2 Features
This network video transmitter compresses live video from analog cameras and transfers the video over
Ethernet connections. The transmitter can be accessed, configured and managed by using the INIT
(Integrated Network Installation Tool) program. It has a built-in web server allowing you to monitor
live video remotely using a web browser. The RASplus program provided with the transmitter also
allows remote management, monitoring and recording. This transmitter offers the following features:
